You Don’t Have to Hold It All Together

Some days, strength looks less like carrying everything well and more like finally admitting that it was never yours to carry alone. The pressure to hold it all together can sound responsible. It tells you to stay composed, keep producing, remember every detail, and make sure no one sees the places where you feel uncertain. It praises you for being dependable while quietly convincing you that rest is risky. Underneath that pressure is often a fear: if I loosen my grip, everything will fall apart. So you keep going. You answer one more message, solve one more problem, and say “I’m fine” even when you are running out of room inside.
